Ranging from the "First Year Success Series" to the "Senior Year Experience" these programs are designed to help students move into the next phase and stage of either undergraduate or post graduate life and career.
This year events, taking place throughout the month of February, have been coordinated by the Transition Committee to include exciting events such as Speed Networking, Graduation Myth Busters, Extreme Makeover: Career Edition, How to Thrive as an Artist and many more! A little bit about the Transitions Committee...
Mission Statement:
The transitions committee serves the Rutgers University student body in strategically managing and adapting to change. Through two concentrated weeks catering to the undergraduate population and based on educational and social programs and an interactive online experience planned with the assistance of faculty and staff the committee seeks to address the core student life elements: (including, but not limited to) academic success; leadership, career management and financial literacy; health and wellness and recreation; diversity, culture, art, social and global issues.

Student Learning
Create opportunities for students to strengthen existing student learning and develop new initiatives to enhance student development.
Individual Responsibility
Provide students with the opportunity to learn lifelong skills and behaviors that promote a positive approach to their personal health and wellness.
Life Skills
Enable students to develop values and beliefs that allow them to succeed during and after their collegiate experience.
